I was packing this for DH when he walked in and said, "no school tomorrow so I don't need a lunch" so I got halfway through it. I put it in the fridge like that for his lunch here at home.

I contacted Zojirusi about some leakage in the bottom container of the Mr. Bento, the container below the soup container. I told them I hand wash it and it's new. Their reply is that the bottom container shouldn't have ANY liquid in it. Nice. Oh well. So far it's working out aside from that.

Mr. Bento 2009-2

Ok, just like me to toe the line a bit. Day two and I couldn't conform to the Mr. Bentos, "four tier, four bowl" norm. But that's just me, it's how I roll, I'm a non conformist and I roll dangerous. Tonight we had Spring Rolls for dinner so I rolled four extra for DH's lunch tomorrow. After I rolled them I wrapped them in a damp paper towel then foil to keep them from drying out. So the bottom tiers of the Mr. Bento tomorrow will be four upright Spring Rolls.

Mr. Bento 2009-1

I decided to get DH a Mr. Bento to speed up lunch packing this year and keep his foods hot/cold. So this is my first lunch for him this school year! Tomorrow is his first day of PHD/MD school. Long road ahead of us, I better fuel it well! (If you're asking what a Mr. Bento is, click HERE.)
