Beans and Legumes, Cheap Fall Vase Fillers
Happy Fall Y'all!! I thought I'd share what my vase fillers are. I was trying to figure out something to fill them with that was
1. Cheap
2. Reusable
3. Something I don't have to change out until Christmas, or ever. So neutral.
SO, candy corn and candies while cute could potentially be expensive and draw ants. That and they are more specific to October I think. Coffee beans were on my list, but they are definitely not for the frugal! I decided on lentils and beans. Cheap, and they last and last. There are SO many varieties and colors. Black beans are pretty, black eyed peas, orange lentils, so colorful.

Eshakti Dresses Coupon Code and DEAL ALERT
![]() |
| Tipped trim Peter Pan collar dress |
Squee Eshakti! How totally cute is this dress above!? It's so lovely and fits me so well. I have a confession I really dislike buying clothing for myself online. I feel my body is wonky and not in proportion with dress makers/clothing makers. I wear a 2 at one store, a 8 in another store. It's so frustrating. Even with measurements it's hard. But the dresses on Eshakti are so cute and I had to try buying from them. I'll admit my first order I didn't think the dress fit me well. But it wasn't a huge deal, their return policy is awesome, if you choose the Gift Card option you get refunded for the item value PLUS 20% more. I mean really. It was an easy decision for me. (See below for the awesome deal I have for you!)
At Eshakti, most of the dresses come with POCKETS. I love having pockets! You can opt to have them removed also, but they come in handy. On most of the dresses you can pick sleeve length and style, you can customize the neckline, and/or the length of your dress!
If you sign up under my referral link you'll get $35 off your first order, FREE customization on your first order, and there's a code for 10% off right now. See below. Such an awesome deal right?
I'll have to post a picture of my dress on. I actually have three more on the way since I wanted to take advantage of the code and Buy 2 Get 1 free deal.Check out the details below.

Sparkly Citrus Lavender Hand Scrub
During Diva's Birthday Brunch we made three things the girls could take home. This Citrus Lavender Hand Scrub was one of the items. It's so easy to make, and I let the girls help. You can make this with any essential oils you would like. I also had cosmetic glitter on hand for the girls to put in. We only used olive oil, the next time I make this I'll use part coconut oil. I think it's a little lighter than olive oil.
Sugar scrub can be so expensive, this would make a lovely present. Package it in a pretty jar, with a lovely note. I used plastic tubs for the kids, but for an adult a pretty glass jar would be nice.

Sponge Ball Water Fun
How fun does this look!? I decided to make these sponge balls for the girls. They were cheap to make and so easy. I've seen this posted on MarthaStewart.com, and on Pinterest. My only mistake was thinking that 2 packs of four sponges each was enough to make these. I only got 3 sponge balls made. Thank goodness there are only three kiddos here. I would have known I needed more sponges if I would have read the directions. But I just thought, how hard can it be grab some sponges, cut them up and tie them together. I think as per directions- now that I'm reading them as I write this post, 3 sponges per ball is a good idea.
Use new, fresh sponges, mine were moist in the package and they cut easily for me. Don't wet them, if you wet them anymore than that it would be hard to cut.
These are easy to clean also- just throw them in a garment bag and wash them in the washing machine.
Sponge ball (1)
3 sponges (1/2-by-2 3/4-by-4 1/4-inch each- but I didn't think to measure my sponges, I grabbed the cheapest pack)
Butchers twine/yarn- I used zip ties, the girls didn't feel them or anything, but use your judgement.
scissors
I also used ribbon- I heat sealed the ends and some strips of rubber drawer liner
Cut the sponges into 4 pieces to form long sticks. I cut down the middle of the sponge, then cut down the middle of the two pieces. Make the pieces 1/2 inch thick.Stack the sponge pieces, ribbon and drawer liner strips.
Secure the bundle in the middle, tightly with butchers twine or zip tie.
Cut off excess twine or zip tie.
Fluff out the sponge ball.
