Sweet surprises from Sweet Slings

The other day I got an email from Shanna of Sweet Slings. She was part of the Etsy Hyena Cart team I was also a part of. Some amazing artisans that stock both on Hyena Cart and Etsy. You can view a list of the artisans here. Shanna emailed me out of the blue and said she had something for me. I felt so blessed to be thought of. These beautiful soft napkin's are so pretty. Bamboo terry backing- soo soft. Bright and colorful too. They are called Bentokins. We used them as diner napkins, absorbent and soft. I know the girls will love seeing them in there school lunches. Thank you so much Shanna for your sweet kind gift.

Well, make your own! Easy Peasy. Of course if you want some peace and quiet while drinking this, you'll have to give the kids a little treat also... don't worry, I've got you covered.

Here my friends is the road to another cup O' goodness from Lisa at the Healing Pixie. Lisa sent this tea for my girls as a treat, and it's DELISH. Fruity, a good amount of tartness, you can taste the yummy berriness too. I know it's not a word who cares? Delish isn't a word either. If you haven't tried Healing Pixie teas you are missing out. The Spice of life is DIVINE. The girls and I had a cup of this tea with just a touch of honey after dinner tonight. YUM.

Comfort in a cup...

You know there is nothing like a little mommy time, or a lot of it HA HA. Recently I contacted Lisa at the Healing Pixie for some special mama tea and I asked her if she had a decaf Chai. Turns out she makes one called "Spice of Life", I got my package in the mail yesterday and free boiled myself a cup per her instructions. Just looking at the tea with the cardamom pods and all whole all spice I knew this would be a treat. Usually I make my Chai with the same spices and some black peppercorns too. In my excitement to try the tea I never got a picture of the final product, so if you want to know what that looks like order yourself some Spice of Life, it's divine. I had my first cup with just a little honey, tonight I am having it with honey and heavy cream. Ok and a chocolate bar LOL.
