Dressing up a packet of udon noodles...

Diva wanted udon noodles tonight. I have plain udon noodles but I didn't have time to make a good broth so I used prepackaged udon, it comes packaged much like Ramen noodles do, noodles and a separate seasoning packet. I made two according to the directions omitting one of the seasoning packets. Too much sodium and MSG. To dress it up I added some herbs, pork and spices. No tutorial needed but it was fun to take these pictures.
Also Diva and I love this with celery stalks dipped in hoisin sauce.

Plain boring udon.

Crock pot roasted pork loin.

Chopped Celery leaves...

Chopped basil...

Chopped cilantro....

I also added some lime juice and lots of Sriracha hot sauce to mine.
