Cave Tools Pepper Rack For Poppers And More

Grilling season is upon us and one of my favorite sides on the grill are anything to do with jalapenos or chili peppers. I was recently contacted by Cave Tools to see if I would be interested in doing a review for one of their products. They have so many on their site, I've been eyeing these claws though. How great would those be for pulled meats and shredding them for enchiladas and such? I ended up choosing the Cave Tools Pepper Rack because hello, jalapenos on the grill or in the oven. Which is what I opted for.

Eshakti Dresses Coupon Code and DEAL ALERT

Tipped trim Peter Pan collar dress

Squee Eshakti! How totally cute is this dress above!? It's so lovely and fits me so well. I have a confession I really dislike buying clothing for myself online. I feel my body is wonky and not in proportion with dress makers/clothing makers. I wear a 2 at one store, a 8 in another store. It's so frustrating. Even with measurements it's hard. But the dresses on Eshakti are so cute and I had to try buying from them. I'll admit my first order I didn't think the dress fit me well. But it wasn't a huge deal, their return policy is awesome, if you choose the Gift Card option you get refunded for the item value PLUS 20% more. I mean really. It was an easy decision for me. (See below for the awesome deal I have for you!)

At Eshakti, most of the dresses come with POCKETS. I love having pockets! You can opt to have them removed also, but they come in handy. On most of the dresses you can pick sleeve length and style, you can customize the neckline, and/or the length of your dress!

If you sign up under my referral link you'll get $35 off your first order, FREE customization on your first order, and there's a code for 10% off right now. See below. Such an awesome deal right?
I'll have to post a picture of my dress on. I actually have three more on the way since I wanted to take advantage of the code and Buy 2 Get 1 free deal.
Check out the details below.

Buy TWO get ONE free
Use my referral link for $35 off (minimum order of $20)
Use code LOVES for 10% off
FREE customization on your first order, get your clothing made to YOUR measurements.

AWESOME DEAL!

Have a return? Returns are easy and awesome if you use the Gift Card option.
Gift card option - for the item value plus 20% more

What are you waiting for? Have you ordered from Eshakti before? What did you get? What would you order?

This is not a paid or promoted post. I purchased my items on my own. I am just sharing because I really like this company, and I know the deals right now are good ones.

Clawz Shoes - Review and Coupon Code

After a long winter, it seems as if Spring is creeping in, although our friends just a little north of us got snow this week! So crazy. But with warm weather means sandals, water parks, splash pads, and more! I don't like my kids to go barefoot outside or at the splash pad. So when we had the opportunity to try Clawz Classics we jumped at it! My kids each have a unique style all their own, and these shoes screamed "middle child"! Sure enough Piglet picked out some blue Clawz, the sizing is easy, the chart was accurate for us.  The colors are bright and fun!

We took the shoes out for a test run, she wore socks because it was still cold out! It was raining though so there was some puddle jumping and tree climbing. The shoes were wonderful. She said that they were comfortable. Even with all the running, jumping, and tree climbing they didn't fall off once! The shoes have seen more action now that it's warmer. With no complaints from our tester at all! Piglet's notes about the shoes-
- Comfortable!
- Cool "footprint"
- Easy to put on

Mom's notes-
- Easy to clean
- Waterproof
- Slips on easy
We believe that with success comes the duty to give back.  A portion of the profit from every sale will help fund a donation of Clawz shoes to children struggling with health issues.  We hope that you’ll join us in helping kids fight illness by encouraging them to fight with the courage of a tiger or strength of a bear.

Here's some more information about Clawz from the website.

Heirloom Cookie Sheet- Coupon Code

I have met some awesome people through blogging here on Give Peas A Chance. Jeannie from Heirloom Cookie Sheets has been one of those people. She started this company and is here in the US. But the story behind these sheets is pretty amazing. Her dad first had these stainless steel cookie sheets made for her mom. Jeannie and her mom baked and used these cookie sheets for 30 years, and they were workhorses, and stayed beautiful. That's the beauty of stainless steel, it stays so nice and works so hard. Jeannie's friends asked where she got her cookie sheets after borrowing them. That's when she knew to share these awesome cookie sheets.

I had heard through another blogger that Jeannie was looking for some bloggers to partner with for the Heirloom Cookie Collection Cookbook. I'm so blessed that I was able to participate in this fun project. Because in doing so I discovered a beautiful product that is so well made.  I was able to make the amazing cookies pictured above for the cookbook. There are 20 other bloggers who partnered with Heirloom Cookie Sheets and these books would make a wonderful gift.

I was also able to use the Heirloom Cookie Sheet. I'll be honest, I got rid of all of my cookie sheets years and years ago. They were flimsy, they warped, some were coated. They were more of a pain than helpful to me. Still to have something without the "lip" on all my pans would be awesome, something with no aluminum? Even better. I was very pleasantly surprised but the weight of  the Heirloom Cookie sheet. Sturdy and strong because they are made with 100% stainless steel (Heirloom Cookie Sheets are made from Type 304, food grade USA stainless steel with a Chromium content range between 18 – 20 and a Nickel content range between 8 – 10.5. That's right, there's no aluminum. STRONG. They are also made in the USA. I've used this sheet to bake cookies and also pizza. Because there's no "lip" on the sheet I could fit a whole pizza on there with ease. Because stainless steel heats a little slower, but conducts heat so evenly, baked goods are evenly baked on the bottom, it takes a few minutes of extra bake time, but it's not a big deal.

Here's more about this great  product

Professional Construction
The Heirloom Cookie Sheet is made of heavy duty, 18-gauge stainless steel. That’s it … no toxic coatings. No coatings at all – and yet, it’s virtually non-stick!
One of the 12″ sides is turned up slightly to provide a handle, so it’s easy to maneuver in and out of the oven and store in your cabinets. The 15″ sides lay flat to allow heat to circulate unrestricted across the entire baking surface, which results in even baking.
There is no need to use cooking spray or liners when baking with an Heirloom. The natural light color of stainless steel encourages even baking to help you avoid burning your cookies.
Best of all, the Heirloom is Dishwasher Safe! If you do need a little “extra” cleaning help, especially after broiling with the Heirloom at a high heat, we recommend using a small amount of a non-abrasive powder cleanser.
First Impressions
Quality! Ask anyone who has seen an Heirloom Cookie Sheet, and “quality” is their first impression. Its mirror-like finish combined with ultra sturdy construction makes the Heirloom a beautiful piece of professional bakeware.

These cookie sheets would make a wonderful addition to anyone's kitchen. With the discount code below, gift giving is made easy!
**10% off Discount Code**
GPCNOV13 good until 12/15/13.
This code is good for 10% off of 2 or more sheets (limit 10)

holiday-sidebar-non-customer
What is eMeals? It's a great service where two week meal plans are sent to your inbox. Complete with shopping list and recipes.
The cool thing about Emeals is that it's simple.
  1. Pick your plan- you can choose size of your family, your eating style (there's Paleo, low carb, organic, classic meals, simple gourmet, gluten free, vegetarian, and more!), you can even add which grocery stores you shop at. So many options, that you can change later on. I chose Paleo, not because we eat Paleo, but because I want to limit grains, soy, sugar, and processed foods for us. You can go back and change your plan also.
  2. After you pick your plan, every week you'll get a menu with recipes delivered to your email. If you plan every two weeks or every month, this is still doable, you just have to shift meals over.
  3. There is an option to add snacks, and packed lunches. You can add breakfast also.
  4. Once you get your meal plan you'll receive a detailed grocery list organized by section coordinated with weekly sales at your local grocery stores. WHAT the what?
The cool thing is you can use all of these recipes, or just some of them and then substitute some family favorites to round out your menus. Use Emeals to make your life easier, don't let it stress you out and make you feel like you have to use their whole plan for the week and nothing else. But the recipes are easy, and they don't have hard to find ingredients.
Here is a sample of a weeks menu with the Paleo plan selected
Basic Chicken Alfredo with Roasted Spaghetti Squash
Slow Cooker Balsamic Roast Beef with Kale Salad
Herbed Salmon Burgers with Broccoli Slaw
Marinate Ahead Greek Chicken and Roasted Tomatoes
Spicy Tilapia with Cherry Pecan Compote
Cabbage Rolls with Coconut Apple Salad
Lemony Caper Crab Cakes with Smashed Parsnips

I love that there are notes to marinate ahead of time- what a time saver. Also built in slow cooker meal for busy days! How awesome is that!?
Just click the picture above to find out all the details and use code CYBER at checkout for 30% off.

Allermates- GIVEAWAY & Coupon

Diva has allergies. Other than some environmental allergies, she's allergic to peanuts, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, pine nuts- let's just say she can have almonds and that's it. She's also mildly allergic to soy, milk and egg whites. She's pretty good about not eating anything unless she asks if it's safe. But sometimes it's nice to have reminders for her and those around her to ask before she eats. In walks Allermates.com! This company not only has cool accessories for kids with allergies, they focus on awareness and education. And they make it fun!
The Allermates website is fun for both parents and children. They have a parents  section with resources for parents and product safety information. In the kids section there is allergy education/awareness information in kids terms. The fun cast mates of this website, the Allermates,  are little icons of common allergies and there are more that are going to be added. One of the things Diva thought was cool was the word search, there are free printables for them and other educational printables for free on the site.  Each of the Allermates has it's own page that gives tips and information on that allergy.

There are several products offered from Allermates. They have necklaces that are perfect for children with multiple allergies. You can choose several of the tags. The cords are soft and have a safety release, which is awesome.

The bracelets are soft. Colorful and fun. Adjustable and waterproof. Diva has let both of her sisters wear her bracelet and necklace- they both want one of each!

They also have these fun T-shirts.
Do you know a child with allergies? I bet they would love Allermates!
You can purchase Allermates and use code givepeas for 10% off here.

Summerland Bath and Body- Discount!

Denise is the WAHM behind Summerland Bath and Body, she is offering 40% off* orders for Give Peas A Chance readers for the month of August at her Etsy store! See below for coupon code. She makes each and every one of her products in small batches with care. There is a variety of items on both her Etsy and Artfire stores, and she posts often on her facebook page about custom orders she's working on. With over 1000 positive feedback entries on Etsy and five star ratings on Artfire, you know Denise is consistent and knows what she's doing. I want to try all of her products. Beautiful handmade soaps, lotions, conditioners, shampoo, scrubs, body sprays, pet shampoo, and more. And her scent list is to die for! I'm a scent girl and just reading through that list and descriptions! WOW. You can check it out on her blog, on the right hand side, HERE.
I was lucky enough to test out a sulfate free shampoo and wash (Shea Butter Wash and Shampoo) and a leave in conditioner (Sunflower Conditioning Mist). I want to point out that I am picky about shampoo and conditioner. Maybe it's my hair but I don't like it brittle looking. I want it well conditioned but not greasy and with no build up. Not saying I have gorgeous locks that everyone wants and a to die for style, I just am particular about cleaning and conditioning. I have a lot of breakage so my hair looks frizzy sometimes.
Anyway, when Denise said she had a sulfate free shampoo, I was like ugh. I'll try it. Maybe put it on the girls and see how it goes. In the back of my head thinking, this never goes well. I've spent lots of money and so much doesn't work for me. Especially, "natural" stuff. Believe me I've wanted a sulfate free solution for my family and I, and I've looked.

The Shea Butter Wash and Shampoo and the Sunflower Conditioning Mist arrived around the last week of June. (So I've been using it over a month now!) Denise mentioned rinsing with organic apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. I had neither on hand. So I used white vinegar. Surprisingly the shampoo lathered well. I wasn't expecting that. My hair felt clean, and it didn't feel like it was stripped of natural oils, neither did my scalp. It was wonderful! Next, I poured the vinegar over my head. Oh. My. Gosh. The smell was yuck, so I quickly rinsed. I expected the vinegar to make my scalp and hair feel dry but again it didn't.
After the shower,  I went to run a brush through my hair- which is the real test for me. I like to be able to run a comb or brush through my hair after towel drying it and not feel like I'm pulling or tugging at my hair. Any other time I don't use a conditioner I can't comb through my hair without knots and tugging. I was able to brush my hair, then I sprayed on the conditioner and brushed again. I let my hair dry naturally. Which is the norm for me, no product and just let it dry. My hair felt lighter, had more volume and wasn't frizzy! It just looks better healthier, now. The vinegar smell goes away also. ;)
I decided to keep using the shampoo on my hair and my body. I use it on my girls also. I haven't tried it on their hair because of the vinegar rinse. Washing the girls hair around here (they take showers) is crazy. Whining and what not. Ugh. I'll wait until I pick up a bottle of lemon juice for that. For me, I found that I only need maybe 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar diluted in 2 cups of water. The smell is not intense that way and it rinses fine. Denise also said a little baking soda and water would neutralize the scent.
The Shea Butter Wash and Shampoo is awesome as a body wash. As stated before it lathers, not as much as soap does. And bubbles do NOT equal clean. But it's a nice lather. My skin feels clean but not tight/dry/flaky after.
So are you ready to try out some amazing handmade products? Check out Summerland Bath and Body. I would love if you could go to her facebook page and tell her I sent you too.

You Bar review and coupon code

Have you heard of You Bar's? Or the You Bar company? It's amazing. You can customize cereals, energy bars, trail mixes, protein shakes and even cookies! When I say customize I mean customize. Check out the site HERE. So many healthy ingredients to choose from. Like cacao nibs, ginger, clover honey, grains- optional, fruits, berries, nuts and most are organic.  I love poking around and coming up with new varieties of products. If you don't want to customize your own, choose from their best sellers.
The variety of product You Bar sent us to test was amazing. So many different combinations and the best sellers ones they sent were awesome. You Bars, shakes, cookies, cereal and trail mix.
The girls loved the trail mixes and cereal the most, I did too. They are portioned in individual bags which are perfect for travel. And the bars? To be honest I didn't get a single bar. My husband ate them all. We haven't even gotten to the shakes yet, I'm going to put one in our morning smoothies soon.
**Pictures removed**
Joel at You Bar sent our samples to us. They were carefully packed and he answered my questions via email quickly for me. I recommend You Bar if you're looking for food items and snacks that you can customize. They also have gift certificates and gift boxes, where you can choose from a variety of products to include in them.
Do you want to try some You Bar products? They have provided a coupon code for readers of GPAC to use.
Coupon code GPAC2011 is now active and will be valid for a 10% discount on any item at YouBars.com
So enjoy! What do you want to try most?
