PomTree- Review and Giveaway

Tell me what child doesn't love stickers? I mean why else would they give them out at dentist and doctor's offices? I remember my collection of stickers and sticker books as a child. My children are no different. We recently had the opportunity to review this great Sticker Storybook from PomTree.  It has over 800 stickers and comes with a fun storybook. What the girls and I like about this book is that there's a story, and the stickers can be used to complete fun colorful scenes on the pages. I love that there are no rules with this. No real limitations well, except my personal "stickers belong on paper, not furniture" rule. Also there's no glue, scissors, scraps of paper all over, or fuss. I actually let Pixie use this book first. She was sick one night and just couldn't get to sleep. She was frustrated because she was so congested and since she's a thumb sucker that mean she couldn't breathe to get to sleep. I wanted to save this book so that all three girls could sit down and look through it together. But I sat down with Pixie and went through the pages with her and looked at each scene. She was able to decorate the pages, it was fun! Her older sisters we able to read to her later on. 

The pages in this book are full color, and the paper weight is nice. It's not thinner coloring book weight. The stickers are easy to peel off. Sometimes I find that there are some stickers that will rip when a younger child is trying to remove the sticker from the backing. The characters are fun, they are not in makeup or short shorts or anything either. I feel it's wholesome and appropriate for kids. I appreciate stuff like that as a mom of three girls.

The girls also got to play with the Twinkle Top Treehouse, the picture below is the only one I have. The whole idea of these kits is that scissors and glue aren't needed. Which is great because you don't have to hunt those items down or worry about glue getting everywhere. Each piece in our set had a backing like a sticker does where you can stick the pieces to the standing foam treehouse that is precut. 

The instructions were easy to follow, but my girls ended up doing their "own thing" and building something all their own. But that's what crafting is all about. In this case I think one of the big open ended play kits would be perfect for us. They look like this, and have 600+ pieces of foam sticker fun!
