Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds, pretty straight forward but here you go.
You can use pie pumpkin seeds or the carving pumpkin seeds, whatever you have. I had some from a pie pumpkin, we haven't carved pumpkin yet this year.

Cut the pumpkin in half, scoop out the insides.

I place it all in a colander.

Rinse the seeds and take out the stringy flesh/stuff that is stuck on them.

Dry the seeds...

**I have recently stopped drying the seeds, I just put them on the baking sheet wet, season while wet liberally and roast them without any oil, so much better for you and still very tasty**

Make sure they are dry...

When dry turn the oven to 350 degrees, spray the pumpkin seeds LIGHTLY with some oil, I used olive.

Sprinkle the seeds with whatever seasoning you want, cinnamon sugar, salt, whatever, I used hot salt. Then roast until fragrant. Shake the pan a few times during cooking to move the seeds around too. DELISH!
