 This is a great read if you're into stories about real people and characters. Daisy Goodwin has done her research and tells the story of Maria Callas. She weaves between the childhood that shaped Maria Callas, The Diva that she became known as. The heartache Maria experienced which drove her instead of breaking her.  Maria soidified her ledgendary status as a famous Opera singer. She was already good, she had a beautiful voice since childhood. Daisy Goodwin fills in the blanks to what could have happened.

This is an interesting story about love, loss, and enduring.
