Groovy Girls- Review and Giveaway

Groovy Girls® Phenomenon Rings In 2014 With Special Sweet 16 Dolls Plus New Core Dolls And Accessories
Since 1998 Groovy Girls has been part of the toy scene, The Manhattan Toy company introduced these sweet, fun, and funky dolls to the world! It all started with four soft sculptured dolls, Liza, Lupe, Lexi, and Lucy. Sixteen years later this great company is still winning awards like the Parents Choice awards! The Manhattan Toy Company is introducing three Special Edition Sweet 16 Dolls and four "Core" dolls that start with the letter "B" -- Brooklyn, Bailey, Bayani and Brenna. Starting at $15 for the new 2014 core dolls and $20 for the Special Edition dolls, Groovy Girls are a great deal!
As their brand points out, "what makes Groovy Girls different from other dolls and other licensed properties is a deeper more compelling message for both children and parents. Each Groovy Girls character has a unique, one of a kind look expressed in her hairstyle, skin tone and hip outfit — just like girls in real life!" The brand encourages developing a girl’s sense of self identity and individualism
Toy industry judges were enchanted with the doll line almost from the start. The "Girls" became trademarked in 2001 due to whopping sales and were nominated by the Toy Industry Association as both the Girl Toy Of The Year and the Specialty Toy Of The Year beating out thousands of established manufacturers. Two years later, at the peak of their popularity, they won both 2003 TIA titles! Over the years The Manhattan Toy Company has partnered with Scholastic and the Girl Scouts Of the USA to
bring the Groovy Girls message of individuality, respect and courage into more homes and hearts.
The kids were thrilled to be able to play with the Groovy Girls Totally Tentastic! My favorite part is that there's no assembly. Really I was so thrilled about this. The kids could pull it out of the (minimal- yay!) packaging and just start playing. The tent is realistic, it as a fabric floor, zippered entrance. Even the windows on the sides have flaps to pull down or secure up for play. Three dolls fit into the tent.
the colors are fun, bright, and bold.
Groovy dolls are soft, each one is unique in style, skin tone, hair color, facial expression, and hip outfit. Just like all girls! Bayani, our doll has fun purple in her hair and a sweet smile on her face. Because she's soft Pixie kept cuddling her, and she's okay to sleep with! It's so great that these dolls celebrate friendship and diversity. Strength can be found in being yourself!
