Diva's Blueberry Cream Cheese Roll Ups

I have been meaning to blog this for a while now, this and 50 million other pictures/recipe in my "blog now" or "ready to blog" folders. Still. Here we are, backlogged but still here :)
This is actually something Diva made because she wanted a snack one day. It's simple and straight forward, and the pictures are from December 2012. Oops.
Diva does pretty good in the kitchen, especially now that we have a toaster oven. There's no real recipe for these. Just Blueberry Vanilla Bean Preserves, a tube of crescent roll dough, and some cream cheese. You can use any fillings you want. Cheese sticks and pepperoni are good for savory snacks.
Speaking of Diva, she's going to be 9 years old this month. NINE people, that's almost TEN. It goes by so fast, and some days slow. But mostly fast. She's such a blessing. She and Piglet have this thing right now where they are so lovey with each other. They keep saying they are "best sisters", they do a good job of including Pixie in all of this also. It's quite sweet. Though Diva's name suits her sometimes, she's really not a diva. She's a smart, fun, and creative bookworm, that's a pretty awesome soccer player. She's a blessing. She's helpful and a great big sister also.
Here's a picture of her at a few days old.

Diva's Blueberry Cream Cheese Roll Ups

Blueberry Vanilla Bean Preserves, or your favorite preserves
Cream Cheese
1 Tube Crescent Rolls

Unroll crescent roll dough.
Tear at the seams.
Add some cream cheese and preserves to the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up loosely making sure that there are no holes or gaps where the filling can leak out during baking.
Bake as directed on the crescent roll packaging. You may need to add a minute or so, just bake until golden brown.
Let cool a little before serving, the filling is hot!

  2. Oh these look great! And so easy. What a great idea! My boys will love them!

Speaking of kids, they do grow up so fast. My older boy is 15 and my younger one is 13. Seems like just yesterday they were still toddlers. But I love them as teenagers...they get more and more interesting as people every year!

    Thanks for sharing this!
