Glee Gum - GIVEAWAY

WHEEE for GLEE (Gum)! Okay, I admit, before this review I had only seen Glee Gum products at Cost Plus World Market. Sad right? I still haven't tried their gum. But the girls and I did get to try out a Gummies Kit. It was very easy to use, and there wasn't a lot of fuss.
The Glee Gum Gummies Kit comes with easy to read and follow instructions. The kit is also educational. It teaches you how to make your own molds using household objects, gives you a run down of what the seaweed in the box is used for. It explains how seaweed is useful in candy making. You can even find a lesson plan on their site HERE. It's perfect for groups, parties, homeschooling, or just families. All three of my girls (ages 4-6-8) were able to help. They got to find items to make the molds, wash and dry them. They got to mix the gummies, coat them in the end with the sour mix so the candies wouldn't stick together. My oldest read the instructions for all of us.
I would definitely buy this kit as a gift and recommend it to friends. My girls had so much fun.
The more info tab gives even more information about the product, seaweed, and how farmers are harvesting it for food and income for their families. You can read more about that HERE.
Glee Gummies are vegetarian since they use carrageenan (from seaweed) and not gelatin from animal bones.

You should also check out these photos on how chewing gum gets from tree to Glee, pretty awesome! LINK

See that piece of seaweed? It's like magic! It makes the Glee Gummies yummy, without gelatin.
