Mary Cattapan, mother of three energetic boys, is the inventor and entrepreneur behind Clix™ Magnetic Interchangeable Pendants and Bracelets. She is a marketing and teaching professional with over 20 years of experience in new product development, product management, direct marketing and teaching.Clix™ was invented when Mary was trying to solve the problem of creating jewelry that could express a person’s own style and art while still looking classic. When she got her first button machine, she would make beautiful 1” circle buttons out of images, photos, and even chiyogami Japanese paper. The results were beautiful buttons, magnets and pins. With nowhere to display these small works of art, Mary set-out to fulfill her own need of creating wearable art jewelry. The name came in a moment of inspiration after hearing the metal flat back button click into place securely on the bracelet base, hence Clix™. You can purchase blank pendants and bracelets, then customize them with your favorite papers, photos, or fabrics. You can also find a variety of designs on their Etsy page. Make several "buttons" to match your outfit for the day.
The kits on Studio66's Etsy page would be so fun for a party activity, or to make gifts for loved ones, teachers, and co workers. I love this kit, it looks so fun! You can put keepsakes or pictures in these pendants. So fun!
