Green Toys- Giveaway

Have you seen the Green Toys "Green Eats" line? Such a cool line of dishes for children. Safe, eco friendly dinnerware for kids! They are nice and sturdy. Not thin and flimsy at all. We were sent a variety of bowls and plates to review. Here are our thoughts on them
- I really like the feel of these dishes. Like I said, nice and sturdy but they aren't heavy.
- They stack nicely for storage
-Dishwasher safe, which is a big deal for me ;)
- I like the fun colors. They aren't bright, but they are still fun. Not dull.
- The snack bowl is a great size. It's great for popcorn, ice cream, pretzels, grapes and such for the kids. Same with the the snack plates, just big enough.

I'm impressed with the product and this company.
The product is made, their products are made from recycled milk jugs. The Green Toys site says that  "the plastics material used is high-density polyethylene, considered to be one of the safest, cleanest plastics around".They make all sorts of toys for babies, toddlers, and children. Outdoor toys, building toys, kitchen toys and more. Their packaging is minimal and 100% recyclable. Everything is made in here in the USA, in California. Less transportation, less energy used!

From the Green Toys site -
Green Toys Inc. makes an awesome line of classic children’s toys constructed from recycled plastic and other environmentally friendly materials. This helps reduce fossil fuel use and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improving the overall health and happiness of the planet.

Green Toys products are tested by nationally recognized, independent, third-party labs (located, yes, in the USA.) They contain no traceable amounts of Phthalates or BPA. They are also designed without any external coatings, eliminating the fear of lead paint.
Our products pass a plethora of tests, including:
  • Consumer Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA)
  • Consumer Products Safety Standard Specification, ASTM F963
  • California Prop. 65 restrictions on lead & cadmium
  • FDA regulations for food contact
  • Voluntary testing for no BPA (Bisphenol-A)
  • International standards EN71 and ISO 8124
