GPAC Warming Sugar Scrub

If you have tired hands, sore muscles, this Warming Sugar Scrub is perfect. You can make it with items you probably have in your pantry. At the end of this day you can use this rub on your hands, knees, calves, shoulders, tired feet... just no where near open skin, your eyes, mucous membranes. Really, just use common sense. If you wear contacts, use gloves to rub this onto sore muscles, but don't use it on your hands. Don't put it up your nose, or use it on sensitive areas, open skin... you get my point? Let's just put it this way, I use this on my hands, and on sore muscles- you should use it at your own risk. I am not responsible for how your skin may react to it, as I am not a doctor. Am I safe to continue? Read on.
Let's just get started. We're making a simple sugar scrub here, you can find a post on a Citrus Lavender Hand Scrub here.

GPAC Warming Sugar Scrub

Granulated sugar
Olive oil, almond, coconut, avocado, and/or jojoba oils
Cayenne pepper (I use ABOUT 3/4-1 teaspoon to 1 cup of  scrub, you and adjust depending on how much heat you want. I wouldn't use a ton though.)

Essential oils- we used lemon and lavender
Food coloring- optional
Cosmetic grade glitter - optional, I got ours at Ulta
Add the sugar to a large bowl, pour oil in until the sugar is just wet. Add the glitter, food coloring, and essential oil. Stir. Add more oil if needed.
To use the Warming Sugar Scrub, massage onto skin. Let it sit for a minute, then carefully rinse off and pat dry. It stays warm for a while for me.

*I would not use this on children, people with sensitive skin, open skin, sensitive areas, see the warning above.
* This has oil in it, it makes everything slippery- if you use it in a tub, drop it on the floor, etc. You could possible fall.
* This has oil in it, glass jars are pretty, but they get slippery, and fall, and break.
* This has oil in it, if you use it on your feet use caution so you do NOT slip and fall.
* Cayenne pepper is hot, like jalapenos. If you get it in your eye's, nose, mouth, etc... well just don't.
* Brown Sugar or white granulated sugar can be used.
* Peppermint essential oil or eucalyptus essential oil can be used also. Both give a little warming also, IMO.
* Glitter and food coloring was used for my daughters party favors, obviously not needed.
